"Pancake cravings always seem to hit after midnight and the pancake Manor has every option under the sun to satisfy the quintessential late-night food craving. Located conveniently in the Brisbane CBD in what was previously a church building, the restaurant offers the perfect mix of contemporary vibes and old school charm. They also offer gluten-free pancakes."
"An oldie but a goodie, The Pancake Manor has been serving up fun pancake treats – both sweet and savoury – since us parents were wee tackers. And they’re still magnificent. They’ve got a zillion different variations on the simple pancake – plus they cater for gluten-free and vegan requirements."
"In 1979, the former St Luke's Church of England on Charlotte St saw the light and embraced the one true deity of pancakes."
"The local hub, Sassafras of Paddington, is continuing to serve-up their renowned eats, treats and charm. Plus, they've started a great initiative!. They split some of donations into boxes for local elderly residents in need and have some full boxes going to larger groups and families reguarlarly."
"Sassafrass’ ricotta hotcakes are so legendary up in here that there’d be a mad riot if they ever disappeared from the menu!. Sassing your tastebuds with their own house-made honeycomb butter and topped off with organic maple syrup, they sure do stack up against our measure."
"Another Brisbane vegan institution, Loving Hut has been serving Southsiders an enormous menu of Asian eats that are entirely animal free for years and they have it down to a fine art. With a comfortable atmosphere for the whole family, the Loving Hut restaurants are also alcohol free. The expansive menu also notes additional allergens, so it’s quite accommodating for the digestively-challenged people in your life too!"
"An old aquarium turned kitchen, Let Minnow proudly calls themselves “The Northside’s best kept secret”, and we can’t help but agree!. Founded on the love of Queensland, the friendly and homely atmosphere is perfect for family catchups or a girl’s brunch. Table numbers have been disregarded, replaced with mini versions of Brisbane street signs, allowing you to explore suburbs from your seat."
"Post Office Square is nestled between Adelaide Street and Queen Street and provides a large green space in the middle of the CBD. Underneath the square there is a subterranean shopping center and there are several stair wells leading down from the square into the mall. The square is located directly opposite the General Post Office, which is a beautiful sandstone building that dates from 1872 and was home to the Queensland Museum for a time in the 19th century."

"Perched above a lush park overlooking the Brisbane River, the beautiful Newstead House is Brisbane's oldest surviving residence, dating back to 1846. Where once it stood as a simple colonial Georgian cottage, home to Darling Downs pioneer Patrick Leslie, over the years it has grown to reflect the history of Brisbane, serving as a Botanic Institute, the first headquarters of the Royal Historical society of Queensland, and even acting as the living quarters for American service personnel during WWII. Today the homestead offers visitors a slice of Brisbane history, as it’s painted and furnished in the style of the late Victorian period."
"This Noosa resident has found a new home in South Bank and we are very grateful for it. Its handcrafted gelato and gourmet waffles on a stick are made fresh daily and are fully customisable. Start with your base, pick your drippings, add your favourite toppings and finally, treat yourself."
