"The Blue Mountains' essential sight is a rocky trio called the Three Sisters. Just an hour outside of Sydney, they stand at over 2953ft (900m) and a 1640ft (500m) trail from the main Echo Point lookout platform..."

"The team at Percy Plunkett are bringing back their takeaway offerings, including their beloved makeshift takeaway window. Expect pulled lamb toasties, their garden bowl, and all their usual menu items, including a few specials. They’re also making brekkie boxes filled with mini deep dish pancakes, fresh fruits, and butterscotch sauce."

"We spent a night in Lilianfels earlier this year, and it changed our mind about staying in Katoomba. We had previously been put off by the thought of tour buses at Echo Point and the busier main street, but once you are on the grounds of this resort, you feel a thousand miles away. The resort has two restaurants, and also a bar serving share plates and high teas."
"Lilianfels Blue Mountains Resort & Spa has great facilities like swimming pools, a tennis court and a day spa. It’s a bit pricier than the other places but a good fit if you’re looking for more than just a room to sleep. The resort is located beside Echo Point and a five-minute drive to Katoomba’s main strip."
"One of the most famous landmarks in the Blue Mountains is the Three Sisters, an unusual rock formation towering high above the Jamison Valley. Standing over 900 metres tall, the Three Sisters is a spectacular sight and offers some beautiful and intense walking tracks. There is one trail ‘The Giant Stairway’ that takes you up close to the Three Sisters mountains and then down to the valley floor via more than 800 steps."
"The most popular lookout point for tourists is the Echo Point Lookout from where you can enjoy the best views of the famous Three Sisters. While this lookout is definitely awesome, there are many more beautiful lookout points in the Blue Mountains without the big crowds. Echo Point looks out over Jamison Valley, densely populated with eucalyptus trees and surrounded by massive sandstone cliffs."
