The reconstruction of the beach strip began in 2017 with a $100 million investment and was just recently reopened. "This small but pretty beach is situated in one of the most historical areas of Western Australia, and is close to heritage landmarks and local attractions, such as the famous Round House and the Maritime Museum. Although it's surrounded by suburban Fremantle, it's a nice little spot to come to for a picnic and/or swim. Access to the beach is via an old whalers' tunnel, a feature that children will absolutely love."

"Bathers Beach is a popular city beach just a short stroll from Be Fremantle and close to all the action of the town and fishing boat harbour. Ideally situated the beach also has serviced beach lounges on offer from Bather’s Beach house for those wanting to indulge. The beach extends 300 meters, offering different experiences from its northern or southern ends."

"The southern edge of the Swan River in South Perth has magnificent views across the water to central Perth. After Kings Park it is probably the next most obvious location, and justifiably so. The whole shoreline can provide scenic viewpoints, but I've focussed on three of my favourites."

The Hales Park is a nature-based play area, with its focal point being the 9-metre-tall wooden tower that holds a 14-metre-long tunnel slide!.
